And this has happened to me. One of my friends kept trying to control who I was friends with and even tried to pit me against those said friends. To be frank, it's a good thing that I had outside sources and common sense to question what she was doing cause to be honest, I think I would have lost so many good friends because of her.
If you're wondering, we're not friends anymore.
But, let this be a lesson. Control freaks, you must learn that you cannot control your family members or friends. All you gain from that is making yourself and everyone else miserable. Which, I guess is okay if you're selfish enough...
And no being selfish is not okay. It's quite wrong.

Especially when that "friend" has wronged you before.

Is it bad if I warn a friend about a certain someone? Cause I do that, I don't forbid someone to not hang out with said person, I just tell them to be careful when around them.

I think the girl who used to control you probably is insecure or she hates the other people you hang out with. She probably (not sure) wants you to herself because you're her only friend?

Ultimatums are never okay, although I've probably accidentally done it a few times when I was younger.

That's happened to me too, but it deals with who I've been dating for the past 19 months.

Most of my friends don't approve of him because, "He's a pervert!" "He's damn near 21 and you're 17!" "He has a BEARD! D8<"

So what? They can't control who I date. I guess they don't get free cake and food at my wedding. :D

I was in a simular situation before, with a supposed friend of mine. She was annoyed I was talking to skype with other people. Now I am convinced her behaviour wasnt appropriated.:(I agree completely with your stamp. We must not be possesive toward our friends. It is not right and it is selfish.:(No matter how close you are with someone, you must not control his life.
